TOGETHER WE REMEMBER.

TOGETHER WE HEAL.

The lives of El Pasoans were forever changed by the August 3rd, 2019 tragedy.

As the one-year mark approaches, El Paso United Family Resiliency Center (FRC), the County of El Paso and the City of El Paso aim to unite El Pasoans in order to honor those we lost and send love to those deeply impacted. As partners, we hope to promote community-wide healing and foster an appreciation for El Paso’s rich history and heritage. Together, we can light a path toward long-term resiliency.

We are El Paso strong and together we heal.

LOVE FOR EL PASO SHOWCASE: CALL FOR YOUTH ART

Now accepting submissions until August 21st, 2020

Let us foster a deeper love and understanding of our community in the next generation of El Pasoans. We are encouraging youth ages 3-18 to practice healing through art by creating and submitting artwork that answers the prompt, “What do I love most about the Borderland?” All entries will be part of the FRC’s virtual art gallery.

Art entries will be judged on creativity, originality, execution, overall impression and clarity of theme. Our judges are Drea and Steven Ingle, co-founders of Creative Kids, a nonprofit focused on purposeful visual art education. There will be three pieces selected in each age range, one for each art medium.
