Acerca del evento

A year ago, the United Way of El Paso County with the help of the local governments and partners, metaphorically opened the doors to the El Paso United Family Resilience Center and began providing support and guidance to individuals directly or indirectly affected by the August 3rd tragedy.

Now, as we reflect on this year-long journey, the FRC takes the community on a virtual tour of the facility and program to share stories of healing and hope.

Our moderator Ryan Logan, American Red Cross Director of Recovery Services, leads an insightful look at the resilience of a community and the efforts taken to lead recovery efforts specifically through the formation of the El Paso United Family Resiliency Center. Logan currently serves a national subject matter expert in planning for and responding to mass casualty/mass fatality incidents having led the American Red Cross responses to the Pulse, Las Vegas, Parkland, and El Paso tragedies.

Guests will hear an honest testimonial from an FRC participant, narratives from resiliency navigators and the FRC director, and thoughts from local leaders involved in the process. Each will share realities, barriers, bright spots and stories of progress.

Join us to learn more about how the individuals and the community can benefit from the resources, support and programming available through the FRC.

We’ll have agency tours, a live panel and audience Q&A.
